Shipping Policy
All of our shipments are fully insured by the USPS.
Once an item has been shipped. All lost or Damage items must be directed to the USPS office. It is the buyers responsibility, not the sellers to contact the carrier.
Claims for Loss or Damage
If your insured mailing has been lost or damaged in transit, you may file an insurance claim:
Online: Go to www.usps.com⁄help⁄claims.htm for information on USPS domestic insurance.
By mail: Call 800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777) to have a claim form mailed to you. Send the completed form with all other required supporting documentation for loss or damage of an item mailed with insured services to the address printed on the form.
Evidence of Insurance
You must retain evidence of insurance for your claim. This includes evidence that insurance, COD, Registered Mail, Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express service was purchased for the mailed package. Proof of Value
You must submit proof — such as a sales receipt or paid invoice — showing the value of the article when it was mailed. For a detailed list of acceptable evidence, see “General Filing Instructions” in DMM 609
Good Faith Cooperation
When an insurance claim needs to be filed for a shipment, both Alicia's Creationz and you, the recipient, acknowledge both parties' respective responsibilities. Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith to provide any necessary
items within the necessary timeframe as stipulated in the Terms and Conditions of insurance coverage. Should either party be unable or unwilling to fulfill the duties necessary for a successful claim approval, they may be liable for any losses not recovered.
I do my best to make sure your package is secure and nothing is moving around in there and it’s super protected before I send it out. I also take the extra precautions to add a cold pack to make sure we have no heat related accidents. Including fragile stickers all over the box, so the carriers know to handle with. care.
